Join us for a morning of hands-on, sensory play as we connect with nature and explore a range of Natural Play-based learning experiences. Alongside your little ones, engage in different nature play activities and learn the fundamentals of this special style of learning in a relaxed and semi-structured ‘play group’ style environment. Whether you are new to Nature-Inspired Play and looking for some guidance in how to implement at home, or a seasoned nature play lover seeking connection with others while our little ones immerse themselves in play, these sessions provide something for everyone. Our sessions will commence with a short welcome gathering where the intention and targeted skill will be shared, before we break into flexible learning experiences where our little ones can move freely throughout a series of play provocations and activities.
Our first series of Golden Nature Play Sessions will commence on Friday 18th June at the beautiful location of Silsoe Street Community Garden in Mayfield, and will run weekly for four weeks. Our location allows for groups of up to approximately 15 children per session, with one caregiver to remain for supervision. Due to the structure of these sessions, you have the option of attending an individual session on a one-off basis, or enrolling in all four of our sessions. Each week the session activities will change and new skills, tools and learning intentions will be introduced and explored; allowing weekly attendees the opportunity to build upon their knowledge and understanding, as well as children attending individual sessions to gain a valuable one-off experience.
